Privacy Notice
Your study data stays on your device.
This is a study app. It keeps your progress on your own device, it doesn't track you, and it doesn't show ads. The only time anything you type leaves your device is when you ask the study assistant a question.

What we store on your device
When you use the app, it saves a few things in your browser's local storage so the app still works the way you left it:
- which chapter and screen you were last on
- which practice questions you've answered
- chapters you've bookmarked
- your mock exam attempts — score, date, and which topics you missed
This stays on your device. It isn't sent to us, we can't see it, and it isn't used to build a profile of you. If you clear your browser data, or use a different device or browser, it's gone and you'll start fresh.
The app also saves a copy of its own pages and content on your device so it keeps working offline.
Cookies
We don't use any. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies. The storage described above is what makes the app function — it isn't used to follow you anywhere.
The study assistant
When you ask the study assistant a question, two things are sent to Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI model powering it:
- your question, and any earlier messages in that chat
- the content of the chapter or screen you're currently on, so the answer makes sense in context
This is how the assistant produces an answer. Anthropic processes it and sends a response back. We don't attach your name, email, or any account details, because the app doesn't collect them.
It's built to answer questions about data management study material, and that's all it needs. Don't paste anything from your employer that you wouldn't want leaving your organisation.

Chat conversations aren't saved anywhere by us. Close the app and the conversation is gone.
AI-generated answers can be wrong or incomplete. Always check anything important against the chapter content and the DMBOK2 guide itself.
Hosting and fonts
The app is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, their servers process your IP address and basic request information in order to deliver the site to you.
The app loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
What we don't do
- We don't ask you to create an account.
- We don't collect your name, email address, or phone number.
- We don't use analytics or tracking tools.
- We don't show advertising.
- We don't sell or share data about you, because we don't hold any.
Your choices
Because everything is stored on your own device, you're in control of it:
- Clear your mock exam history using the Clear history button on the mock exam screen.
- Clear everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
- Skip the assistant entirely if you'd rather nothing left your device — the rest of the app works without it.
